Ghanaian gospel musician and television host Gifty Adorye, popularly known as Empress Gifty, has received a brand-new car from her husband, politician Hopeson Adorye, in a surprise birthday gift.

The surprise, which was initially planned for her birthday on October 25, was delayed because the award-winning gospel musician was outside the country at the time.

After her return, Hopeson finally presented the car to his wife, making the occasion a memorable celebration.

Expressing his excitement ahead of the surprise, he said: “I know today is going to be more memorable than all the birthdays we have celebrated.”

The gesture has added another special moment to the couple’s public displays of affection, with Hopeson choosing a brand-new car to celebrate his wife’s birthday.

Empress Gifty, known for gospel hits including Aseda and Watch Me, has built a strong profile in Ghana’s gospel music industry and is also recognised for her television and public engagements.
