Nana Opoku Gyaako II, the newly installed chief of Ayensua Fufuo in the Offinso South District of the Ashanti Region, has officially sworn the oath of allegiance to His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, at the Manhyia Palace.
In a brief but dignified ceremony held at the palace today, Nana Opoku Gyaako II pledged his unwavering loyalty and commitment to the Golden Stool and the traditions of the Ashanti Kingdom.
The oath marks his official recognition and acceptance into the traditional hierarchy under the authority of the Asantehene.
Following the swearing-in, Nana Opoku Gyaako II addressed the media and public, expressing his strong desire to attract economic development to his community.
He made an open appeal to investors, entrepreneurs, and development partners to take advantage of the opportunities in Ayensua Fufuo.
“As I’ve been installed the chief of Ayensua Fufuo, I’m going to open my doors to everyone who wants to establish an industry or factory in my community,” he declared.
He emphasised his readiness to offer land and support for any initiative that would bring growth, employment, and improvement in the quality of life for the people in his traditional area.
“If a businessperson or an entity wants to create an industry that will employ quite a number of the youth in my jurisdiction, my doors are open. I have vast land available for any kind of developmental project,” the chief added.
