The feud between Ghanaian actor Kwabena Boakye and media personality Abro has escalated dramatically, with the actor publicly calling on traditional powers to judge what he describes as false allegations made against him.

The latest development follows comments made by Abro during an interview on Royal TV, where he alleged that Kwabena Boakye had previously been arrested by the Ghana Police Service and claimed he played a role in securing his release. Abro also suggested that the actor’s rise to prominence was largely due to the support and influence of actress Vivian Jill Lawrence.

Apparently angered by the claims, Kwabena Boakye responded in a video that has since gone viral on social media. In the footage, the actor is seen pouring schnapps and invoking the gods of Techiman while denying Abro’s allegations.

According to Boakye, the incident referenced by Abro involved a friend of his who was detained by the police, not him. He maintained that he was never arrested and that he personally secured his friend’s release the following day.

He said: “Nana, I am not from Techiman, but we are here to work, and I have heard how powerful you are. There is a man called Abro who is claiming online that I was arrested and that he was the one who bailed both my friend and me.”

He continued: “But that was not the case. He played no role in the matter. My friend spent the night in jail, and I was the one who secured his release the following day. I was never arrested. I want the gods to judge this. If he is lying, deal with him.”

The actor further warned against any attempt to reverse the curses and stated that the matter could only be resolved if Abro publicly retracts his comments and apologises.

He stated: “If he regrets what he has done, he should come out publicly and apologise, and after that, we will see what we can do.”

The controversy adds another chapter to the growing public dispute between the two personalities, which has attracted widespread attention on social media. While Abro has yet to respond to the actor’s latest actions, Kwabena Boakye has made it clear that he is determined to defend his reputation against what he believes are false claims.
