A private legal practitioner with Dominion chambers Lawyer William Kusi has expressed grave concern about how the government is handling the western Togoland secessionist case.
According to him, all those involved deserve to be sent to the firing squad. He insists it is incumbent on us to initiate such process to deter other groups from embarking on similar actions.
He says their actions should not be entertained because they are purely criminal offences and are against the laws of the country.
The legal practitioner who spoke on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM said it is needless for the government to engage them in any form of negotiation, and urged the government to expedite action in bringing whoever matters in this case to face the full rigor of the law.
‘’We can’t sacrifice the whole country for such small groups, so we need to hit them hard, we should not spare them at all’.
He wants the president to assent to the death penalty for those culprits to be sent to the firing squad since “we can’t mess up the peace we are enjoying in this country to this small group of people”.
He wants the leader of the Homeland Study Group Foundation (HSGF), Charles Kormi Kudzordzi, popularly known as Papavi to be arrested immediately and charged with treason
