The National Democratic Congress (NDC), led by their National Chairman, Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nkatia, has made a firm commitment to resist any attempts by the Electoral Commission (EC) to manipulate the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Nkatia expressed concern over the Electoral Commission’s decision to prevent NDC agents from recording the serial numbers of the BVR Kits during the current voter registration process, suggesting that this move could potentially compromise the integrity of the upcoming elections.
He raised suspicions about the use of seven stolen BVR kits to register individuals in favour of a particular political party, further fueling the NDC’s apprehensions.
During a press conference today, Mr. Nkatia also known as General Mosquito, announced that the NDC has instructed its polling agents at various Electoral Commission District offices to document the serial numbers of the BVR kits to ensure transparency and fairness in the electoral process.
