A single mother and widow at Gomoa Nyanyano in the Central Region has appealed to the appropriate authorities for help in retrieving property documents she alleges were entrusted to her pastor for safekeeping but have since been withheld.

The woman, Madam Gifty Moses, claims her pastor, Senior Prophet Samson Seidu, founder of Angelic Grace Palace at Gomoa Nyanyano, took custody of documents covering properties left behind by her late husband and has allegedly failed to return them.

According to Madam Gifty Moses, she handed the documents to the pastor while she was pregnant and preparing to deliver her baby.

She said the pastor asked her to leave the documents with him for safekeeping, assuring her that they would be kept secure while she was away for delivery and returned to her upon her return.

However, Madam Gifty Moses told Nana Ansah that the pastor has allegedly refused to hand over the documents and has gone ahead to sell portions of the properties without her knowledge or consent.

She is therefore calling on the relevant authorities to intervene and assist her in recovering the documents and protecting her properties.

Some family members of Madam Gifty Moses have also accused the pastor of allegedly defrauding their relative.

They claim the pastor is asserting ownership of some of the properties and have appealed to the court and other appropriate authorities to intervene and help resolve the dispute.

The matter is currently before the High Court at Ofaakor in the Kasoa area, where the allegations and ownership claims are expected to be determined.
