NPP Elections Committee Meets Aspirants, Pledges Fair, Transparent and Credible Election

The National Elections Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has met with all aspirants contesting in the upcoming national officers elections and pledged to deliver a fair, transparent, orderly, and credible process for all aspirants and delegates.

Speaking at a press conference, the Chairman of the Elections Committee, Hon. Frederick Opare-Ansah, expressed gratitude to the Electoral Commission, the Ghana Police Service, the various party structures, aspirants and their representatives, delegates, the media, and all stakeholders for their continued cooperation.

He said, “It is our collective responsibility to ensure that the remaining preparations are completed successfully and that the conference proceeds peacefully and efficiently.”

He added that the Committee continues to work closely with the Electoral Commission and the Ghana Police Service to ensure an orderly, secure, and transparent electoral process.

Delegates are expected to arrive in Kumasi on the evening of Friday, October 2, 2026, and proceed to their assigned accommodation. The conference will commence promptly at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3.

The Committee has appealed to all delegates to comply with arrival and transportation arrangements and to be punctual. Aspirants have also been urged to ensure that their agents, supporters, and delegates comply with all electoral, accreditation, and security arrangements.
