Former Ghana international, Samuel Opoku Nti has raised concerns over the implementation of e-ticketing.
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has announced that 20,000 tickets have been sold on the novel e-ticket platform introduced by the National Sports Authority ahead of the 2022 World Cup playoff between the Black Stars and the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Many Ghanaians have lamented about the difficulties in purchasing the ticket for Ghana vs Nigeria game online.
But speaking in an interview with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel, on Oyerepa Breakfast Show, the Asante Kotoko legend stated that the introduction of the e-ticketing was in a rush.
According to him, there should have been long term planning for the e-ticketing system.
”This E-ticketing ‘koraa’… when there is one light out we surfer. We should have planned it for a long time. These are things that should be working smoothly”, He said on the show.
The Blackstars of Ghana and the Super Eagles of Nigeria will come face to face in the 1st leg of the World Cup Qualification Playoff tonight at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports at 7:30 PM.
The famous Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria will host the return encounter on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.
