Sammy Osei Kuffour, a former Ghanaian footballer, has spoken out against the negative attitude of Ghanaians, particularly in regards to the recent news about Michael Essien’s properties being auctioned off.
He believes that the focus on negativity needs to change and that Ghanaians should instead be positive and supportive of one another.
He points out that Michael Essien is not broke, despite the auctioning of his properties, as he still owns valuable assets.
“Nobody with a proper conscience will come out and say all kinds of things. You never spoke to the person; you never know exactly what the person is going through. So, how can you justify saying someone is broke? You would have to know if he comes to your house and begs for food. I know the kind of assets that Michael has, and I will not stand anywhere and say Michael is broke. Michael is filthy rich,” Sammy Osei Kuffour stated.
