A young woman identified as Faustina has accused her ex-husband, Francis Acheampong, of attempting to use her for money rituals at a priestess’ shrine.
Speaking on Oyerepa Afutuo on Tuesday, Faustina alleged that her former husband tried to sacrifice her in pursuit of spiritual wealth. According to her, the incident began after he asked her to accompany him somewhere following the loss of his job.
“He asked me to accompany him somewhere since he had lost his job,” she recounted, adding that the visit was followed by strange dreams.
Faustina explained that after discovering her husband’s alleged intentions, she initially decided to leave the marriage. However, she later forgave and reunited with him after one of her sisters-in-law pleaded on his behalf.
According to her, the alleged spiritual attempts continued but were unsuccessful, which eventually led her to end the marriage completely.
She further claimed that her ex-husband failed to properly care for their child, prompting her to report him to some institutions to compel him to take responsibility. She said he later took the child to live with him.
Faustina stated that she has not had access to the child for the past three weeks and has developed fears about the child’s wellbeing, hence her demand for the child to be returned to her.
However, the situation took another turn when Francis Acheampong, speaking on the same programme, accused Faustina of rather introducing him to the priestess after he lost his job as a driver.
“She first took me to a place in Obuasi and later introduced a priestess called Naana to me,” he alleged.
According to him, during their visit, Faustina accused him of infidelity before the priestess, although he did not pay much attention to it at the time.
He further claimed that sometime after the visit, Faustina developed a sudden heart condition. According to him, when they consulted the priestess, she alleged that Faustina’s illness was a consequence of adultery.
Francis Acheampong also demanded that Faustina refund all the money he claims to have spent on caring for their child if the child is returned to her.
