The New Force has firmly rejected claims linking it to an organisation known as The Base Movement, stating that there is no relationship between the two groups.

In a statement issued on Sunday, July 20, the movement said recent public discussions and enquiries had created an inaccurate impression that it was associated with The Base Movement.

It clarified that neither The New Force nor its founder and leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, has any affiliation, partnership, collaboration, endorsement, or formal ties with the group.

“The New Force categorically affirms that neither the movement nor its Founder and Leader, Nana Kwame Bediako, has any affiliation, partnership, collaboration, endorsement, or formal relationship with any group known as The Base Movement,” the statement said.

The movement urged the public to disregard any reports, publications, or activities suggesting a connection, describing such claims as false and misleading.

According to the statement, The New Force has operated independently since its formation, pursuing its objective of building a united, prosperous, and progressive Ghana through visionary leadership, integrity, innovation, and citizen participation.

It further explained that all official statements and activities relating to the movement are communicated exclusively through its authorised channels.

The New Force called on the media, supporters, stakeholders, and the general public to rely only on its verified platforms for authentic information and not to be misled by reports alleging any association with The Base Movement.

The movement reiterated its dedication to transparency, accountability, and transformational leadership, saying it remains focused on advancing its vision of national development and creating a better future for Ghanaians.
