Africa is Rising: COA RMLC Deputy CEO urges pride in heritage at Sacred Crown Awards Launch

Ms. Princess Duncan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of COA RMLC, has called on Ghanaians and Africans to restore pride in their identity and celebrate the custodians of the continent’s soul.

Speaking at the launch of the Sacred Crown Awards, she said the awards stand on three powerful pillars: African heritage, spirituality, and wellness.

“African heritage is our foundation. It is our culture, language, tradition, music, art, clothing, food, and the wisdom passed down to us by our ancestors,” Ms. Duncan stated.

“Spirituality reminds us that we are more than a physical body — we are spirit in human form, with purpose, light, power, and divine assignment.”

She added that wellness reminds Africa that healing is part of the continent’s DNA. “Our herbs, nature, food, sound, environment, and way of life carry power. Africa carries sacred wisdom, sacred sound, sacred healing, and sacred crowns that must be awakened again.”

Ms. Duncan said the new platform invites Ghana, Africa, and the world to join the journey of cultural renewal.

“Today, as we launch this separate platform, we invite Ghana, Africa, and the world to be part of this journey. Many years here, the beat of the drum to life. Africa is spiritual, and Africa is rising,” she declared.

The Sacred Crown Awards will recognize individuals and groups upholding the pillars of heritage, spirituality, and wellness across the continent.
