Stonebwoy warns team against taking money from Shatta Wale to sabotage his show

Ghanaian dancehall star Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy, has sparked fresh conversations online after making comments about his team’s loyalty and his long-standing rivalry with fellow dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr, known professionally as Shatta Wale.

In a video circulating on social media, Stonebwoy appeared to caution members of his team against accepting any form of inducement from Shatta Wale or his camp to interfere with his performances.

The “Jejereje” hitmaker suggested that any attempt by someone within his team to compromise his stage appearance would not be tolerated.

“Can’t you see my team behind me? If you go and collect a bribe from SM and turn off my microphone, I will wound him. He can’t do that,” he said.

Stonebwoy, also addressed the possibility of sharing a stage with Shatta Wale, making it clear that he does not believe such an arrangement would work.

“It won’t work. He’s not good enough. We are playing in the World Cup, and he didn’t qualify,” he added.

The comments have reignited discussions about the rivalry between the two artistes, which dates back several years and has often dominated conversations within Ghana’s music industry. Although both musicians have at times shown signs of reconciliation, their competitive relationship remains one of the most talked-about in Ghanaian entertainment.
