Photos of the grandaughter of Ghana’s first President Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah, Princess Fathia, hit the INTERNET yesterday as we commemorated Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day.
The holiday, dubbed Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day, is to celebrate the birthday of Ghana’s first President and leader of the independence struggle, Dr Nkrumah.
Initially, the holiday was called ‘Founder’s Day’, but the NPP government had it changed to Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Day.
As Ghanaians were celebrating the day, a granddaughter of Nkrumah popped up online to celebrate her grandfather which go many talking.
