A prophet known as Efoh Habakkuk from the Volta Region of Ghana who lives in the Greater Kumasi City has sworn heaven and earth to divorce his wife.
According to him, he does not understand why the wife would’ve to leave him and widow her ex-husband.
Speaking on Oyerepa Afutuo, Monday, May 9 2022, chaired by Akua Asieduwaa, Prophet Habakkuk indicated that he wedded his wife 5 years ago.
She came into the marriage with 2 kids and they’ve been blessed with 5 other children which he is taking care of.
One day his wife told him, she was going to Togo for the funeral of her ex-husband to serve as a widow.
However, he did not accept because his wife and the ex-husband had been divorced for 3 years before his death so he didn’t understand why she would go and serve as a widow whilst in another marriage.
Prophet Efoh Habakkuk stated that the wife (Rose) despised him and carried on with her move where she indeed served as the widow.
He narrated further that, Rose’s 3rd ex-lover came to their home and asked if the woman is around. He then suspected the wife is flirting around with different men therefore as a prophet he can’t live with a cheating wife. For this reason, he is never going to marry the woman again.
The woman who also appeared on the show admitted to having served as a widow for the ex-husband. She disclosed that her family called her to perform those widowhood rites else the spirit of the dead ex-husband might haunt her.
She however debunked the husband’s allegations of her chasing different men.
Meanwhile, the husband has said he is ready to rent a room for the wife as well as compensate her with some amount of money to start a business.
He will take full responsibility for his kids and will give them daily feeding fees.
