Kumawood actor Stephen Yaw Mawunyo, popularly known as Oteele, has vowed to do everything possible to reconcile with his wife, Gifty Nana Afriyie, amid growing uncertainty over the future of their marriage.

Oteele made the declaration in a social media video as he addressed the difficulties in his marriage, which have attracted considerable public attention following the circulation of a private video allegedly involving the actor.

According to Oteele, he remains determined to have his wife return to their matrimonial home, regardless of how difficult the process may become. He suggested that he would even go to extreme lengths to achieve his goal.

“Even if I have to go under the sea or ocean, I will do everything in my power to bring her back. Mark my words. Because of the things some women and men are saying, I will do whatever it takes to have my wife back, so that I can put all of you to shame. Mark my words,” he said.

The actor’s comments come at a time when Gifty appears to be struggling with whether to continue with the marriage amid the prolonged controversy surrounding her husband.

After the alleged intimate video emerged online, Gifty publicly stood by her family and urged the public to pray for them. She also clarified that she was not the woman featured in the footage.

However, in a recent social media post, Gifty disclosed that the situation has taken an emotional toll on her and indicated that she is now faced with a difficult decision concerning the marriage.

Rather than keeping the matter entirely private, she sought opinions from social media users on whether she should remain with Oteele or bring the marriage to an end.
