Solomon Anane, a prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Communications Team, has voiced his concerns regarding the treatment of Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, a Presidential Hopeful within the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Agyapong is among ten aspirants vying for the coveted position of Flagbearer within the NPP.
In recent years, Agyapong, a former general secretary of the NPP, has faced formidable political challenges from his own party, resulting in his exclusion from governance affairs.
Anane, participating in a panel discussion on the Oyerepa Breakfast Show with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel, shed light on the harsh realities of politics and the unjust treatment Agyapong has endured, particularly within the NPP.
“Politics has not been fair to this man, in fact, he has also worked and sacrificed for the party for years and I think that he has not been fairly treated by his own party people which is so bad to me. ”
He added that politics in Ghana in recent times is filled with lies and deception which is leading the country into doom.
“If we cannot look into the eyes of Ghanaians and tell them the truth we are doomed as a country” he stated.
He concluded that most people following Dr Bawumia are doing so because they want to fill their pockets and have completely forgotten and neglected those who have stood and fought hard for the NPP.
