Following Kodua’s post, Manhyia South MP, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, also confirmed the incident, stating that more than 20 men, claiming to be National Security operatives, had surrounded Fordjour’s house.
At the time of writing, neither the NIB nor National Security has issued an official statement on the matter.
This development comes amid a controversy surrounding Fordjour’s recent allegations about suspicious flights that may be linked to drug trafficking and money laundering.
The MP had earlier cited intelligence sources suggesting that the flights in question could be carrying illicit substances, such as cocaine, and large amounts of U.S. dollars.
The situation has sparked calls for Rev. Fordjour’s arrest from some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), including Sammy Gyamfi and Felix Kwakye Ofosu. They have urged Fordjour to provide evidence to support his claims or face legal action.
