Akosua Kwakye, widely recognized as AK Songstress and the talented artist behind the hit track “Jonathan,” has recently addressed the notion that her music has become monotonous.
Dismissing this opinion, AK Songstress confidently stated, “To be honest, I hadn’t heard that criticism until you mentioned it. I personally haven’t received any feedback suggesting that my songs have become repetitive.”
During an interview with Property FM, AK Songstress passionately argued that those who make such claims are individuals who thrive on controversy and are fixated on trivial matters. She firmly believes that her music continues to offer a diverse range of styles and messages, catering to the varied tastes of her audience.“Unless the people who made such comments didn’t listen to all my songs and as people, we want to listen to songs we like,” she argued.
She explained “If you listen to Jonathan it’s a break-up song and my proposal is a love song after which I dropped another break-up song which is titled Move On.
She refuted “It’s not true that after getting a hit with Jonathan my songs have become one way and I don’t think so but people are always focused on things that can create controversy.
