Gospel singer and woman of God, Ohemaa Mercy has disclosed that she has been through so much pain and disgrace in the past.
In an interview on Kasapa FM, the woman of God recounted how God made her go through a series of shame, hunger, and pain.
According to her, she struggled to feed herself and her one year old. This, she believes was a process that has fully contributed to who she is today.
“…God took me through a lot of pain, disgrace, and hardship. I have a long story to tell. So, I went through the process and came out beautiful. I didn’t go through the backdoor. Whatever you know to be a hardship, I’ve gone through that experience. I never knew God was using that to train me to know how to wait before him”.
She stated that she would not have been able to do what she does today if not for her past.
“I didn’t understand God then, but now, I understand him better,” the award-winning musician added.
