Ghanaian musician, Dorcas Poku Dakwa popularly known as Abrewa Nana says Ghanaian songs are one–way and that is the reason they are not recognized on the international market.
According to her, music needs to be dynamic but most Ghanaian musicians only sing about profanity which makes our Ghanaian songs to be one-sided and this doesn’t promote Ghanaian music.
Abrewa Nana in a recent interview stated that “most Ghanaian songs are not recognized worldwide because they are one -way” songs. Let’s try to be dynamic. It should be in a form of advice, motivation, prayers, and sometimes love. This is the only way to sell Ghana music to the world”.
