The New Patriotic Party (NPP) 1st Vice Chairman for Mfantseman constituency, Mr Gabriel Amuah popularly known as Chairman Gabby has resigned from his position.
Announcing his resignation today, Gabriel Amuah told Central Regional Oyerepa TV/FM reporter Wofa Sammy, that, the Mfantseman Member of Parliament’s (MP) seat is in limbo. Therefore he’s resigned from his position to make it safer.
According to him, his decision is of great interest to the party as the 2024 elections approach.
“Mfantseman seat is not in a good position now, so I’ve resigned to work extra hard to make the seat safe for NPP in the coming elections.” He stated.
Chairman Gabby added that there is no bone of contention between him and the current Mfantseman constituency executives including the MP for Mfantseman. His move solely relies on the interest of the NPP.
Albeit Gabriel Amuah has not officially declared his intention to contest as a Parliamentary Candidate, a lot of party folks believe that, he will definitely vie for the seat in the impending parliamentary primaries hence the resignation.
