Build Ghana, not Abroad – Hassan Ayariga urges youth to seize local opportunities

The Chief Executive Officer of Hansnita Travel Consult, Dr. Hassan Ayarega, has urged Ghanaian youth to shift their mindset away from seeking “greener pastures” abroad and instead focus on building their future at home.

Speaking at the official launch of Hansnita Travel Consult, Dr. Ayarega said Ghana offers abundant opportunities for young people. He noted that classmates, schoolmates, and colleagues can support each other in finding jobs and advancing together.

“Ghana is where there are a lot of opportunities for the youth. Whatever job you’re looking for, your network here will help you push each other forward,” he said.

Dr. Ayarega argued that it is easier for a Ghanaian to make a million dollars in Ghana than to make $100,000 in the United States. He attributed the trend of seeking opportunities abroad to a lack of appreciation for what the country offers.

“A lot of Ghanaians seek greener pastures because we do not value what we have. Foreigners come to Ghana more than Ghanaians go out there. Ghana is a virgin country, while the US is an old woman,” he stated.

He called on the youth to recognize and tap into local opportunities to drive personal and national development.

IT Manager at Hansnita Travel Consult, Mr. Joel Annan, has cautioned Ghanaians to always deal with International Air Transport Association (IATA)-accredited agencies for their travel documentation.

He said most victims of fraudulent travel consultancies are people who deal with middlemen when acquiring travel documents.

Mr. Annan also assured the public that Hansnita Travel Consult is ready to assist travelers with diligence and budget-friendly packages.
