Josephine Gada’s desperate search for help has become a story of hope and compassion, thanks to the generosity of media personality Auntie Naa and the loyal listeners of Oyerepa Afutuo.

Facing a serious health condition that required urgent surgery, Josephine appeared on the popular radio show hosted by Auntie Naa to plead for financial support.

She needed GH¢170,000 for the life-saving procedure but had no means of raising the money on her own. With little hope left, the young woman turned to the show as her last resort.

Touched by her situation, Auntie Naa did not hesitate to act. She immediately opened the studio phone lines and appealed to listeners to come to Josephine’s aid.

The response was overwhelming, as compassionate individuals began donating to support her treatment.

After her second appearance on the show, the Oyerepa Afutuo team, together with their dedicated listeners, had successfully raised GH¢200,000, exceeding the initial amount needed for the surgery.

Overcome with gratitude, Josephine expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Auntie Naa, the Oyerepa Afutuo crew, and everyone who contributed to saving her life.
