Ghanaian Premier League side AshantiGold SC have been demoted into the division two of Ghana football after being found guilty of match-fixing in their league games with Inter Allies last season.
The decision takes effect from the 2022/2023 football season.
Club owner and chairman Dr Kwaku Frimpong has also been given a ten-year ban from all football activities and fined one billion cedis together with the coach and other club officials and players all sanctioned for their roles played in manipulating the results of that game.
