Ghanaian singer, Adelaide Bortier with stage name ‘Adelaide The Seer’ has said she believes God will restore her sight one day.
Speaking in an interview, Adelaide disclosed that her predicament started when she was in Senior High School (SHS).
She has been blind for 8-years after her vision had issues.
The 26 year old singer narrated further that her life has been like a roller coaster with so many ups and downs, but have learned great lessons from all life events.
“I’ve learned great lessons from life events. But the truth is, as human as I am, I have days when I cry and feel very low.
Anytime this happens, I try to wipe my tears and remain stronger because there are many other people who take their inspiration from me. It is not easy with life, but I believe that everything in life happens for a reason.”
“Like my disability, I know God has a purpose for this and that it won’t be permanent. I believe that one day God will restore my sight”, she said.
