Teachers, Nurses Suffering Under NDC Government – NPP Youth Organizer
The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abanga Fusaini Yakubu, says teachers and nurses are suffering under the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government.
Speaking at the ‘Y3 Gye Y3 Sika’ demonstration in Accra, he said cocoa farmers were also struggling, while students were finding it difficult to afford their hostel fees.
He alleged that the government had failed to pay allowances owed to nurses and teachers, contrary to its promises.
Abanga Yakubu made the remarks after presenting a petition to President John Dramani Mahama at the Jubilee House, calling for the dismissal of the Minister for Foreign Affairs.
He urged Ghanaians to have confidence in Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, expressing hope that he would win the 2028 presidential election and improve conditions in the country.
