Leader of United Front Party (UFP), Dr Nana Agyenim Boateng widely known as Gyataba has disclosed that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer Dr Bawumia is working hard with his campaign as if he is in opposition.
In an interview granted Wednesday on Oyerepa Breakfast Show with Nana Yaw Mensah Joel , the Presidential aspirant indicated that Dr Bawumia has been visible and proactive in his campaign even though he is yet to unveil his running mate.
He disclosed that he is surprised to how Dr Bawumia is working around the clock as if he is coming from an opposition party while Presidential candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is just relaxed doing the unnecessary things like he is in power.
“The difference between these two gentlemen is that Dr Bawumia is working as if he is in opposition when even he’s yet to make known his running mate. While John Mahama is just relaxed like he is the one in power” he stated.
He reiterated that Dr Bawumia is currently in the lead in terms of winning the 2024 Presidential elections with the hope of choosing his running mate from Ashanti Region which in turn will give him an upper on his opponent with all the campaign strategies and ideologies.
“I can tell you for a fact that for now Dr Bawumia is far ahead and he is leading that is what I can say for now” he added.
He revealed also that the only problem with Dr Bawumia is communication deficit but he is likely to overturn this with the objective of choosing his running mate from the Ashanti region which will always put him ahead of John Mahama.
