Legendary highlife musician, Frank Mensah Pozo has revealed his portion of his best friend, Tommy Wiredu’s death.
It could be brought to mind that Tommy Wiredu was confirmed dead on April 7, 2003, in Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.
Hearsay assumed Tommy hanged himself to death at his residence at Dichemso, a community in the Kumasi metropolis
Even though the case was alleged to be a suicide, Frank Mensah Pozo on the contrary believes his companion and musician (Tommy Wiredu) did not hang him.
Speaking to DJ Tofiakwa on Oyerepa TV show, Tie Bi’ the “Susu Biribi” hitmaker opened that; he was not in Kumasi when late Tommy Wiredu purportedly committed suicide. He believes his bosom buddy did not hang himself; rather someone might have murdered him.
“When Tommy died, I was not here in Kumasi, I was in Accra but my brother Tommy Wiredu I knew wouldn’t hang himself.” Frank Mensah Pozo emphatically stated.
