The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ejisu, Mr. Samuel Oduro Frimpong has promised to start developmental projects in the municipality.
According to him, he will collaborate with Ejisu Hemaa Nana Yaa Asantewaa II and elders (Nananom) of Ejisu to facilitate the development of the municipality.
“I will collaborate with Nananom to make Ejisu and its environs the best municipals in the country. I promise to renovate the Yaa Asantewaa Museum to make it more attractive. I will also build a market square for our market women on the streets and see to the development of other infrastructural projects”. He stated.
The MCE made the claim in a speech at the official inauguration of Grow Unite Build Africa (GUBA) Awards held at the Ejisu Palace.
The GUBA awards 2021 on the theme ‘Celebrating a symbol of Courage and Resilience’ is set to take effect in November this year to mark the centenary death of Yaa Asantewaa, and all women for their positive impact in nation building.
