Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, the Leader of the New Force, is encouraging residents of the Volta Region to look beyond political party affiliations, particularly their ties to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He is urging individuals to cast their votes based on the progress and development they witness in the country, as well as the effectiveness of its governance. By doing so, they can actively contribute to the enhancement of their own lives and the overall betterment of the nation.
“I saw billboards on the road saying vote for me and forty years that is who you have voted for. Well, I came to the Volta Region where you have been stuck with a party for forty years and not seen any development.
You should rather stick to the nation; stick with the country and the people and what they need. It is more important and not what the politicians do. Four years does not guarantee us anything. It does not guarantee some of us a home that we will build ourselves, let alone the whole country,” he said.
Nana Bediako and his New Force are seeking political power to lead Ghana in its development drive.
He is of the view that Ghanaians need a third force to change how things have been done as the two major political parties have not helped the West African country.
