Veteran actor Kofi Laing, popularly known in movie industry as ‘Kohwe’, has passed on.
According to reports, he died on Thursday at his Accra residence.
Sources say the veteran actor suffered from a stroke recently and was receiving treatment.
Photographs of the actor looking ill have been in circulation on various social media platforms in the last couple of days.
Kohwe started his acting career in 1971. He was an active character in the Akan Drama and District Colonial Court series.
He also featured in several local movies.
Kohwe died at the age of 75.
