A private legal practitioner, Lawyer William Kusi has urged Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to speak about the true state of Ghana and stop propaganda.
Following the debilitating effects on the Ghanaian economy, including price hikes on fuel, commodities, and depreciation of the Cedi, there are calls on Dr. Bawumia as the leader of the Economic Management Team to address the issues publicly.
According to Lawyer Kusi, Ghanaians are aware of the economic changes in the country. He, therefore, advised Bawumia to admit that Ghana’s economy is in crisis.
“The problem of Ghana is Propaganda so Bawumia should tell us the reality”. The lawyer stated on Oyerepa Breakfast Time hosted by Akua Asieduwaa.
He however suggested that loopholes in the public sector must be considered in order to prevent the country from losing funds.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to speak on the country’s ailing economy today, Thursday, 7 April 2022 at a National Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) Training and Orientation Conference at Kasoa in the Central Region.
