Subin Constituency 1st Vice Chairman Hopeful of the governing New Patriotic Party, (NPP), Aziz Soja has cautioned the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin to step step-down if he is not well to take affairs of the house.
According to him, he should resign for somebody capable to take over from him.
Speaking in an interview with the OyerepaOnline, Aziz Soja accused Bagbin of being the cause of all the confusion happening in Parliament.
He said, the Speaker of Parliament has invariably fell sick whenever it is time for important Parliament business, but he quickly recovers on trivia matters.
“Anytime it is time for a serious discussions which requires votes, then Bagbin will be sick. If you’re a “chronic sickler” just resign so that somebody who is capable can take over your role.” He stated.
Aziz Soja added that, “you’re the cause of confusion in Parliament so step-down now.” Aziz Soja stated.
