Renowned news anchor with Oyerepa FM/ TV Nana Asante Soaba, has said the immediate past Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu wasted her four years in office.
Speaking on Oyerepa FM morning show on Monday, Nana Asante Soaba stated that the Ejisu MCE, Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi in her 4 years did not do any project.
“I come from the Ejisu Municipal; I can tell you for a fact that Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi wasted her 4 years in office. She didn’t do anything, not even a single project.” Nana Asante Soaba stated.
Madam Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi in her four years as the Ejisu MCE received several recoils from the public and the assembly members over her poor routine.
In 2018, Polling Station officers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ejisu Constituency said, she was a complete liability, therefore, she should be sacked. In the same year, assembly members within Municipal nearly demised her via a vote of no confidence due to lack of respect for them and stumpy performance.
However, President Akufo-Addo did not retain Beatrice Serwaa Derkyi in his appointment of the Metro, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs).
A new person, Mr Samuel Oduro Frimpong has been appointed as the MCE for Ejisu Municipal Assembly.
