A physically challenged man, known only as Attah has defrauded popular Oyerepa TV and Radio News anchor, Piesie Lardi.
The crippled who appeared on Oyerepa Afutuo show, Friday accused his pastor of defrauding him of an amount of GHc3000.
In the course of the show, the journalist Piesie Lardi called Auntie Naa on phone and revealed that, Attah defrauded her 12 years ago.
According to Piesie Lardi, she bought a piece of land at an amount of Ghc 3000 in 2011 to build her house.
The popular journalist recounted that, she bought 3 trips of sand and stones to start the construction of the house, however, a third party came in a claimed ownership of the plot.
Piesie disclosed that, she tried many times to retrieve her money from Attah but he declined her approach.
“Atta has cheated a lot of people. He sold a stolen plot of land to me in 2011 at a cost of GHC3000. When I went there, a woman came to me and claimed that the land belonged to her, and I eventually lost the land. Atta has refused to refund my money since 2011.”
Attah, however, admitted duping the Oyerepa staff and begged Auntie Naa, the host of the show, to plead on his behalf to refund Piesie Lardis’ money.
Despite his plea, Attah is said to face the law for his deliberate and scandalous act.
