“Once we put our signatures to something, we must stick with it” – Diana Hamilton weighs in on Kwesi Arthur–Ground Up feud

Ghanaian gospel musician Diana Hamilton has weighed in on the ongoing rift between rapper Kwesi Arthur and his former management, Glen Boateng and Ground Up Chale, saying she cannot relate to the situation.

Speaking in an interview on GHOne, the award-winning singer explained that her long-standing relationship with her management makes it difficult for her to identify with such disputes.

Diana Hamilton revealed that she has worked with the same management team for nearly 27 years, attributing the longevity of the partnership to strong guidance, clear agreements and mutual respect.

“Unfortunately, I cannot relate, and I’ll explain why. I’ve had the same management for all these years. I’ve been with my manager for 27 years, and my management teams in Europe and across the world have also been with me for about 15 years,” she said.

She added that her manager, popularly known as Uncle Charles, has always emphasised the importance of honouring agreements once they are signed.

“Once we put our signatures to something, we must stick with it,” she noted.

Diana Hamilton further explained that the solid systems and structures within her management team have played a key role in sustaining the working relationship over the years.

“The systems and structures we have in place have worked so far, and I pray they continue to work,” she added.
