The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Benard Antwi Boasiako has reacted to the Semi-final contest of the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) between 3 Kumasi based Senior High Schools, thus Opoku Ware SHS (OWASS), Prempeh College, and KNUST SHS.
According to Wontumi who is an old student of Prempeh College, his school will surely defeat Opoku Ware in the semi-final stage on Tuesday at 4 PM.
Speaking on Oyerepa TV, Chairman Wontum however urged the Opoku Ware boys to humble themselves for Prempeh College to beat them.
Wontumi revealed that Santasi land on which OWASS is sitting is under the care of Nana Manso Asuowunuhene and he is an old student of Prempeh college therefore the Opoku Ware boys (Akatakyie) should lower themselves for the Amanfo to beat them in the semis.
“What I will tell Opuku Ware boys (Akatakyie) is that they should respect and humble themselves before Prempeh college (Amanfo), if not I will petition Nana Manso Asuonwunuhene who’s an old student of Prempeh to abduct them from his land,” Chairman Wontumi jokingly stated.
