Democratic Youth for Competent Leadership (DYFCL) has added its voice to the numerous calls by a section of Ghanaians on the Office of the Special Prosecutor to investigate the just ended ruling New Patriotic Party, NPP Constituency and Regional elections held across the country.
Happenings from the elections have revealed there was monetization in the events which has called for urgent investigations.
According to a press release issued by the NDC-affiliated group, it is worrying to hear candidates allegedly paying as high as Ghc10,000 to each delegate in this era of the current economic hardship facing Ghanaians.
The statement also emphasised that the outcome of the NPP’s Constituency and Regional elections lacks credibility and integrity as it was characterised by vote-buying.
