A staunch New Patriotic Party [NPP] member, Opanin Baffour Awuah has invoked curses on any delegate who have taken bribes to participate in the ongoing Ashanti Regional Executive Elections.
Today, May 28, 2022, the NPP is electing its Regional Executives in the Ashanti Region at Baba Yara Sports in Kumasi.
But, Opanin Baffour Awuah in a video available to this portal says, some unscrupulous individuals who are not delegates have taken money from some candidates to vote for them.
According to him whoever has embarked on such an awful move should be struck down by the gods/deities.
“If you’ve taken money from any aspirant whilst you’re not a delegate and have decided to vote for any aspirant, just to rig this election, may the deities strike you. Again, if any member of the NPP election committee has intended to rig the election, may the deities vigorously deal with him.”

Recall that, a lot of issues have popped up in the NPP Regional Executive Elections in the Ashanti Region.
Many original delegates, for instance, TESCON and Council of Elders names have been expunged from the album.
TESCON and the Council of Elders have raised concerns over the fraudulent move however, the election will take effect today.
