The National Identification Authority (NIA) has adjusted the fees for Ghana Card services at designated registration centers.
In a public notice, the NIA outlined the new charges for various services, including first-time registration, card replacement, and record updates.
According to the revised fee structure, both first-time registration and record updates will cost GH₵310.00. Card replacement will require a payment of GH₵420.00, while individuals seeking to update their records and replace their cards simultaneously will be charged GH₵355.00. Additionally, nationality updates will cost GH₵365.00.
The NIA emphasized that these fees apply exclusively at specific registration centers.
The Ghana Card serves as the official national identification document for Ghanaians, both domestically and abroad.
Since its introduction, it has become essential for accessing government services, banking, healthcare, and electoral processes.
