The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to upholding accountability and probity in government.
In a press conference, the party’s National communications officer Sammy Gyamfi emphasized that it will begin to implement its vision for a more accountable government after assuming office on January 7, 2025.
The NDC also condemned acts of vandalism and lawless retribution, which it believes have the potential to undermine Ghana’s peace and stability. These acts, the party stressed, constitute serious offenses under Ghanaian law and will not be tolerated by the Ghana Police Service.
The party has called on its supporters across Ghana’s 16 regions to remain calm and celebrate their hard-won victory responsibly.
The NDC assured Ghanaians that the incoming John Mahama government will prioritize probity and accountability in accordance with the rule of law.
