The National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) has announced a GH₵100 deduction from the February allowance of National Service personnel by the National Service Authority (NSA).
According to NASPA, the deduction is intended to cover the cost of the National Service Cloth, which has already been distributed across the country.
In a statement, the association also disclosed that personnel enrolled in the SIC insurance scheme would face additional deductions to settle four months of outstanding insurance contributions.
NASPA assured all service personnel that further updates on the deductions and related matters would be communicated in due course.
