The National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE) in the Juaben Municipality has successfully hosted a parliamentary dialogue, bringing together key stakeholders and parliamentary candidates.
This event is part of the NCCE’s efforts to promote civic education, encourage active participation in democratic processes, and foster a peaceful and inclusive electoral environment.
Speaking to Oyerepa TV after the event, Kodjo Adjormadoh, Municipal Director for NCCE in Juaben, said this year’s election is poised to be violence-free and the best ever held in Ghana.
He emphasized the importance of active citizenship and encouraged all Ghanaians to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections, while avoiding violence.
The dialogue featured two parliamentary candidates, Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu (NDC) and Francis Owusu Achaw (NPP), who shared their visions on key issues such as education, agriculture, employment, and security.
Both candidates reaffirmed their commitment to addressing the constituency’s pressing concerns and promoting development.
The NCCE has been actively engaging with parliamentary candidates and constituents across various regions to promote peaceful and inclusive electoral processes.
As the December polls approach, the NCCE’s efforts aim to ensure a violence-free and successful electoral process.
