The headmaster of Bonwire Senior High Technical School, Mr. Acheampong Siribuor, has passionately appealed to the government of Ghana for assistance in providing accommodation for male students and teaching staff.
He firmly believes that this provision will significantly enhance the learning experience and ensure effective supervision of students on campus.
Mr. Siribuor made this plea during the Bonwire SHS SRC Week Celebration last Saturday, emphasizing the urgent need to address the numerous challenges faced by the school.
One of the major challenges highlighted by the headmaster is the absence of a boys’ dormitory and teachers’ bungalow.
Additionally, the school buildings are in desperate need of renovation and painting.
The water system is also a pressing issue, as students are forced to queue for water.
To alleviate this problem, Mr. Siribuor suggested the installation of polytanks. This would greatly improve the water supply for the students.
Furthermore, he said the school requires fencing to ensure the absolute security of both teachers and students.
