A 23-year-old woman, Rose Bimah, has come forward with serious allegations against Abubakar Saddick Osman, the NDC Communications Officer for the Ejura Constituency.
She claims that Osman impregnated her while she was still in Senior High School (SHS) and has since neglected his responsibilities as a father.
Speaking in an interview on Afisem, a program on Lawson FM hosted by MFK, Bimah disclosed that she was just 18 years old and still a student when she became pregnant by Osman.
According to her, upon informing Osman of the pregnancy, he allegedly pressured her to terminate it. She further alleged that he even went as far as purchasing and bringing her abortion medication. However, fearing for her life, she refused to take the drugs and decided to carry the pregnancy to term. Since giving birth, Bimah claims that Osman has completely failed to support her or their child in any way.
This revelation follows a previous controversy involving Osman, who made headlines last year for physically assaulting Abdul Rahman Hudu, a communications member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Ejura, during a live discussion on Naagyei FM.
