The Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei Mensah has alleged that one of the main contenders of the breaking the 8 Chairman Wontumi, Odeneho Kwaku Appiah (COKA) organized and came to the elections grounds with macho men just to mar the beauty of the just ended elections
According to the Chairman of the Elections Committee of the just ended elections, COKA’s efforts to bring chaos to the grounds didn’t see the light of the day.
“Odeneho Kwaku Appiah came to the grounds with macho men, these were some of the reasons why we wanted to conduct the elections at the Regional Coordinating Council.“ He said
Speaking on Oyerepa Breakfast Show hosted by Nana Yaw Mensah Joel, the Honourable minister called on all party faithfuls to come together in unity and fight for the fortunes of the party in the upcoming 2024 elections. He said the elections are over and they should all bury the hatchet and move together to achieve the breaking the 8 mantra.
“The elections are over but it is not over yet, there is a huge task ahead of us in 2024, and that is what we should all channel our energies to in order to achieve massive victory “ He said
