Concerned NPP Youth in Asunafo South District have raised concerns over allegations concerning the reappointment of Mr. Osei Bonsu to serve in his second term.
The youth say they are very disappointed in the Vetting Committee for calling the reaffirmation of the incompetent DCE, Mr. Osei Bonsu.
The youth say they will by means oppose any plan by the vetting committee to renominate the DCE.

Concerned NPP Youth in Asunafo south write to register our displeasure over the alleged MMDCE’s Vetting Committee recommendations to His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo to reappoint Osei Bonsu to serve as the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Asunafo South.
We are very disappointed in the committee to recommend the re-nomination of our incompetent DCE, Osei Bonsu.
According to the vetting committee, “His re-nomination will promote stability and the steady growth of the district”
The recommendation by the Vetting Committee is false and should be treated contempt it deserves. Whoever made such a recommendation is the true enemy of the NPP party in Asunafo South District.
We the youth will resist his endorsement should the party leadership give us deaf ears and the party will also not go unpunished ahead of the 2024 elections.
We are calling Nana Addo to reject such false recommendation(s) and appoint a true NPP party member who can help bring development into the district and NPP in power 2024.
We wish to inform the leadership of our party in Ahafo region led by the Regional Minister, Hon. George Yaw Boakye, Regional Chairman, Mr. Kwabena Owusu Sekyere, and the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo NOT to maintain our abysmal District Chief Executive, Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr.
We maintain that Osei Bonsu Snr. lack qualities and capabilities to manage the District and office. As DCE for the past four years, all his moves have been a disgrace to the NPP party and detriment of the District.
His divisive posture and attitude have been a great disadvantage to the District and the Party in its development and other positive prospects.
During the 2020 elections, Osei Bonsu undermined and campaigned against the parliamentary candidate of NPP Ing. Kobby Mensah Amoah. How can such a person be recommended for renomination?!
How can a DCE who has said Nana Addo’s administration is not attractive anymore and the NPP party is destined to lose next elections be maintained?
A sitting DCE who can make such an uncultured comment on the party has no business to represent the party in the district.
Where was Nananom when Osei Bonsu was performing abysmally in the district? Please all Nananom should disassociate from pleading on his behalf because we will resist any attempt to pose Osei Bonsu on us in Asunafo South District.
If indeed Hon. Osei Bonsu Snr. believed he did a good job at his four years administration then why was he hooted during our ended Constituency delegates conference at Sankore?
We are by this release cautioning all party leadership through the President of the Republic of Ghana who wants peace in the NPP party, NOT to renominate Osei Bonsu.
He is a disgrace to the party in the Asunafo south and we will reject him anytime.
