Renowned Dancehall Artiste, Samini, has provided a clear explanation of the #playGhana campaign.
This initiative aims to promote Ghanaian music and give it the recognition it deserves in the media and at events, particularly during the festive season.
Unfortunately, there has been a misunderstanding among some individuals who mistakenly believe that this campaign advocates for a complete prohibition of foreign music in Ghana.
Reacting to concerns being raised, Samini indicated that “I support #playghana agenda in the attempt to sell Ghana with the slightest opportunity with tourism”.
“It’s an appeal and not an order, please.” He added.
