Ghanaian Afro-pop musician, Adina Thembi Ndamse, popularly called Adina has released a new song called, “Party”.
Featuring Hi-life musician Kofi Kanaata, the video for this single was released last Thursday, 12th October 2023.
The Ghanaian-South African lady disclosed that although the video was released just 6 days ago, it has received a massive audience from Ghanaians with about 124,000 views and is currently number 19 on the Ghanaian playlist.
“This song is a party song, that is why we chose the beautiful masquerade festival. It was also shot in Takoradi,” she explained.
Adina in an interview with Cookie Tee on TV3’s New Day Show on the 18th of October, revealed that her single “Party” is actually an appetizer for Ghanaians and her fans before she releases her main album next year 2024.
She also hinted that her upcoming album is intended to put her on the international stage.
“This single is actually part of my album which is set to be released next year. My album features 7 other African collaborations, like musicians from South Africa and of course, Kofi Kinaata who is the first collaboration I have on this album” she revealed.
Adina expressed worry over her inability to achieve much with her fibroid awareness project ‘Beautiful Inside.’ Nevertheless, she stated that her team, love and passion for music keep her going.
Adina also talked about her upcoming clothing line, ‘Thembi Republic’.
“I was styled by my own clothing line, Thembi Republic. It’s so difficult to start a business in Ghana and also dealing with artisans, that is why we have delayed but we managed to secure a place now and we will be coming out soon” she added.
The beautiful songstress urged all her fans to go stream her new single, ‘Party’ featuring Kofi Kinaata and also like the video so the song gets to number one on the playlist and all streaming platforms.
